The 4 days we spent in the Cockscomb Basin with our guide Giovanni Mendez where amazing. It was the first time we did a jungle hike so we did not quite know what to expect. We experienced nature to the fullest, learned alot about it and enjoyed the day and night hikes. Over all it was the perfect tour for us to get to know the jungle for the first time, and we strongly recommend such a jungle hike for everyone who's planning to visit Belize or searching for adventure and nature. Next on the agenda: Victoria Peak!

Our trip with Marcos and Giovanni to the Cockscomb Basin eas the highlight of our time to Belize. Their knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Maya Mountains was encyclopedic. And they are both fantastic people to spend time with. We think the world of the people and the forests we were able to encounter. What at trip!
